Helen joined Lisa in their 2S Recruitment adventure due to a shared interest in high recruitment standards and consistently treating people well in all aspects of the process. Helen comes from a varied recruitment, careers coaching and journalism background, and continues to write CVs for senior executives across the world and from many industries including CEOs from the IT sector. Helen's most exciting aspect of recruitment is finding the right career move for candidates whilst solving crucial business problems for her clients. A previous career as a presenter / broadcaster with radio stations including the BBC means she can talk for England! Away from 2S Recruitment, Helen dedicates her time to raising funds for Clic Sargent, the children's cancer charity in the UK who have supported her son throughout his battle with cancer. So far, so good. And funds raised so far equal over £21,000.


Lisa Slattery - Principal Consultant and Owner, 2S Recruitment

I am Lisa; I proudly join Helen in the ownership and management of 2S Recruitment.

I personally have 10 years healthcare recruitment experience. After studying childcare, I was lucky enough to join one of the UK's largest high street recruitment companies, and even luckier to persue this in my dream sector - childcare and nursing. I have spent many happy and successful years in healthcare recruitment since then - the last 6 years I have specialised in Nursing & Residential Care, which naturally leads me to being an expert in the recruitment of Nurses, Deputy Managers, Registered Managers, Area Managers and Operational management staff.

I have a young family so spend my spare time enjoying my 2 daughters. Like Helen, my chosen charity is Clic Sargent; I too enjoy fund raising sporting events – my charity fund raiser claim to fame is cycling 57 miles from London to Oxford whist pregnant with my 2nd child!


Louise Hewitt - Senior Recruitment Consultant

Bore Da (Hi in Welsh), I am Louise from North Wales and I have been very fortunate to join the fantastic 2S Recruitment Team covering the North of the UK.

I have worked successfully within the recruitment industry for more years than I like to admit (that would just show you how old I am!!). I have also worked within the Domiciliary Sector as a Registered Branch Manager for a large national Home Care company so I have a thorough understanding of the importance and complexities of the recruitment process for all Domiciliary and Residential Services from a client's prospective as well as understanding my candidate's requirements and needs.

On a personal note, I am an avid football supporter which causes interesting and sometimes heated debates in our house with my Husband and youngest son supporting Everton (Dreaded Blues) and my eldest son and myself avid Liverpool supporters; so much fun and banter!


Gemma O'Hara - Recruitment Consultant

Gemma O'Hara; mother of one beautiful little girl, one large husband (6ft 3") and two large dogs ! I've worked in the car industry since I was 17 starting from the very, very bottom in the mail room and only ever worked for two companies. Over the years, I have worked my way around and up the ladder to finally becoming director of a car brokerage company. I know the struggles we all have and people need to feel comfortable in their jobs, that's why at 2S Recruitment we all do our up most to find you that right job and help you along the way and support you.

My greatest achievement has to be my daughter; I did not know I was pregnant until I went to the doctor to say I felt ill and he said, 'no, sorry; you are five and half months pregnant!' Supporting my father-in-law through prostate cancer has also been a struggle and I can say that yes, he is out the other side. I am a happy, positive, strong-minded person and will support you all the way into getting that job for you and helping our clients get the right people on board to add value to your business.


Jo Scott - Admin & Resourcing Manager

I am Jo and I have worked in recruitment since 2008. Before my role in recruitment I worked for a large financial institution at management level which gave me a great deal of experience in customer service and also enabled me to develop my organisational skills. I work from our head office here at 2SR; I support our team with all operational duties and assist in all recruitment processes. I thoroughly enjoy my role here and am proud to be part of such a professional and dedicated team.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and especially my 2yr old son who keeps me busy and constantly entertained. I am a keen horse owner and enjoy spending time at the stables and have owned my current horse for 14 years!
