Care Home Manager

We are looking for an experienced Care Home Manager to take over the day-to-day running of our clients residential home close to Abingdon due to the current Manager retiring. The home provides compassionate, individualised residential and dementia care for 40 residents in modern and comfortable rooms. it is rated GOOD by the CQC and is well settled.

You will have excellent leadership skills and be able to establish a good working relationship with your team, some of whom have been there a long time. Our client will also consider a Deputy Manager who is ready to take the next step up.

Requirements of the Care Home Manager:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent (or working towards).
  • Previous experience in a management/deputy management role.
  • A real passion for providing exceptional care.
  • A good working knowledge of CQC standards, Safeguarding, DoLS etc.
  • Sound business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills.
